Tracy with Fanny ferret. Can’t really say why I like this photo so much, I just do. I think it is because we appear to be admiring the same thing. She sat there quite happily for a little while until she started to eat my ear. Fanny is a much loved and rescued ferret with a bad biting habit and very sharp teeth who would have spent her whole life in a cage untouched by human hands and unloved had I not taken her home. She still does not like to be picked up and she still bites, but she loves human interaction and her outings and we now have a mutual understanding and respect for each other. I miss not having the experience of a tiny baby ferret in the house, but all 3 of my ferrets are rescued ferrets as adult ferrets, no matter what their nature, are very difficult to rehouse. My newest ferret Baba came to me after her family moved to Queensland where ferrets are illegal. She is 2 years old and much sweeter.

This is where my lovely aunt & uncle live Lake Tyres on the 90 mile beach. Next week l am off on a 3 hour beautifully peaceful train ride to go & stay with them for a few days to help get my mind together in prep for the operation sides l can sit & listen to uncle Stans stories for ever. When l get a little teary l got 90 miles to scream at the sky & a wonderful verandah to appreciate the sunsets sooooo get ready for plenty of shots AND great FISHING stories. My uncle Stan is the closest l have to a dad right mext to the best father-inlaw in the country / dear Uncle Stan has also gone through 3 cancer treatments so l know l will gain great strength & a belly full of laughs & some great cooking :-) XXXXXXX

This is a picture of our beloved Bailey at the beach. Unfortunately she passed away on the 18th of December, at nearly 11 years old. We will miss her but she will always be our angel!

I love it how all the elements came together to make this shot; a crisp clear winters day with the sun dipping below the horizon in the west, a full moon rising over the Tasman Sea in the east, and one of the most beautiful coastlines on Earth. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time! Hope you enjoy :)
