Two Brighton Deck chairs sit with great vantage spot of a incoming storm front. I love the moody feel to this shot. I must thank Matthew Bonnington for his help in bringing the most out of this shot, his help with some new processing techniques really add impact to this shot.

Beautiful dawn light at Wembury on the South Devon coast. The multi-coloured lichen covered slices of bedrock jutting out of the sea at an acute angle in the forground give clues to the geological composition of this Special Area of Conservation. A cliff. the highest in Dorset, called The Cap – Dorset is in the South West of England – famous for cider, pasties, clotted cream and Cliffs called The Cap. I can vouch for it being the highest because I walked up to the top with all the camera equipment.

Another of my back catalogue images – this time, a coastal scene taken from Countesbury Hill looking west over Lynmouth Bay, North Devon. When I visited the location in 2005, it was VERY wet on Exmoor, and the light was terrible – apart from a couple of streams, I had nothing noteworthy photographed, so headed for the coast instead, and had to position myself quite carefully to miss the road in the picture, but still stay on top of the cliffs. This image was taken in very low light conditions, and had terrible noise (no RAW to play with back then) on a Canon G2, so has had to be played with quite heavily, and in doing so, I feel I have lost a lot of the detail. However, the mood is still there, so I offer it for critique here on RB. I quite like its darkness.

A shot of Southbourne Beach, Dorset I used the Tungsten option on my White Balance options…i think this is really effective….gives the image a whole supernatural and abstract kind of look..
