He was miniscule and i would watch him while laying on my towel..he wasnt alone..thousand others would make this mosaic pattern over the beach..

These tiny balls of sand are rolled out of a hole by soldier crabs, after the tide has gone out.

Saw this little guy get washed up on the beach. When i showed this photo to my kids they immediately yelled out “Mr. Crabs!”... from the sponge bob cartoons… it was too funny.

A crab had delicately made these balls at the entry to its hole on the beach….it just happened to be in the shape of a heart! / You can see the crab hole at the bottom of the heart.
You know the top of the beach, where the tide rarely gets high enough to get up to, and all the scummy dirty flotsam washes up? Well here it is, with footprints disappearing under the water, and unrecognised treasures drifting back and forth in the tidal flow.
