This shot was taken on an overcast and rainy day at Flynn’s Beach in Port Macquarie.. I had to take a shot as the colour of the water was a very nice blue-green.. I was also happy with the way I captured the wave crashing on the rocks offshore.

Here is a re-worked image of my little girl and my husband which was on RB a while ago.. I keep coming back to it so finally decided to play with it and here it is… I originally had this image in colour but got some great advice from a fellow bubbler to try it in b&w so I did…... This image was taken when my little girl fell over on the rocks and hurt her knees and her daddy gave her a piggy back to the car before the storm came.

A stormy winter’s day on the Norfolk coast. The North Sea is an unfashionable sea… cold and invariably grey/brown (its not dirty though, its opacity is due to silt in suspension), it is not full of cool surfing culture and doesn’t have exotic sunsets. These are just some of the reasons why I like it :) / ps you might be wondering if I got wet taking this; the answer is inevitably ‘yes’! Featured in the SEA group
