Two Brighton Deck chairs sit with great vantage spot of a incoming storm front. I love the moody feel to this shot. I must thank Matthew Bonnington for his help in bringing the most out of this shot, his help with some new processing techniques really add impact to this shot.
KIRK FRANKLIN LYRICS “Washed Away” Fill me with your joy so new / So I can show my love for You / This joy I have is real and true / For all my sins are washed away / Yes all my sins are washed away The pain I felt so deep inside / The tears I could no longer hide / There’s joy now cause’ You’re by my side / Yes all my sins are washed away / Yes all my sins are washed away Washed away / Gone astray For all my sins are washed away / Yes all my sins are washed away
Sometimes even mistakes can turn out right. Here I woke up really early, way too early as I misjudged the time for a sunrise. So for an hour or so I was just waiting for the light. As the moon descended this opportunity arouse. This shot is taken at a point where on one side of the beach you can see east and watch the sunrise and basically just turn around and face west and watch the moon set. At this point the resort was abandoned, hence the chair. I only moved it slightly to improve the composition. Photo Taken: 04-Jan-2007 / Time: Early, somewhere between 5 and 6am / Conditions: Calm, really beautiful / / / / / / / Some other seascape art: / / / / / / /
Taken while I was in Grand Cayman in 2005. Couldn’t resist, the chairs were already sitting there perfect and the sky was so inviting. Hope you enjoy.

Taken at Weymouth, Dorset in Spring 2007 / Photographer: GlennB / Glenn Bauer of Wiltshire, England A large number of these had been released from their pen by activists under cover of darkness the night before. I found this one a little apart from the heard just chilling in the gentle Atlantic waves off Southern England’s coast.
I love chairs, they are like people, the angle they stand at and how they are positioned can say a lot….......
.....allow me to share with you my newest drawing I finished last night. / It’s one of a series of watercolour pencil pieces ( 42cm/60cm) which deal the beauty of the female form …..the theme of this series is all about human bodies and chairs . / Everything around us is made by colours, shapes and emotions. I just “steal ” the moments and “stop” them into a picture. I used bold colours and powerful lines, as I do in all my drawings and paintings. Hope you like what you see and many thanks for stopping by !

Colorful beach deckchairs looking towards the ocean, such a wonderful way to relax the day in the Summer. Brighton : Brighton and Hove in the region of East Sussex on the south coast of England. Around eight million tourists a year visit Brighton. Brighton town also has a large business conference industry which hosts the Labour Party , Conservative Party and Trade Union annual Conferences. Brighton has a medical school and Arts University. Its a great place to live and enjoy summer. This photo was taken on a wonderful warm afternoon in May the beginning of Summer 2009. A time to reflect as the recession stretches across the ocean, but hey ‘all will be well at the end of the day’.
