Surfer waiting in the lineup at the crack of dawn, I guess the title says it all
Some hidden rocky beach in Tenerife. We stayed awake all night around a tiny fire, drinking and drinking, talking and talking. / The Moon surprised us by dawn. / That strange it was.
This shot was taken about one year ago of Point Lonsdale Lighthouse the bonus was a storm came up which made this photo what it is.

This image inspired a collaboration with / chord0 / / His poem God’s love in Nature suite this image perfectly. God’s love in Nature / When slight and silenced, / With rumors of corollas and wings, / Is love that fills everything! / Have agitated waves / And the deep vertigo / Of the abyss and the distance. / Life and Death, eternal Love / Of pain and exuberance, / Keep me chained / To the light of his Word / And that sleeps at dusk / In the footprints of the plants. Please check his writings and gallery Bacara Beach in Santa Barbara, California during magic hour at dusk. The pier in the background is the Venoco Ellwood pier and is used only by the oil company, to load and unload personnel and supplies for the oil rigs in the Channel Islands passage. / Image was taken using HDR technique. —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-- / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-- /

Sunset at Rockingham, Western Australia. HDR.
It is a rare occasion when there is no wind blowing the palms, and there are enough clouds over the ocean to create a dramatic sunset at this location. I spent a week’s worth of evenings in this area before the conditions set up perfectly. Technically this is a series of 5 long exposures layered. I was using a 10mm lens on my little Canon XTi. It worked. This beach is in an area where there will soon be plenty of new construction, sadly. The “old” Maui is slipping away, and it breaks my heart. I hope images like this will preserve the pristine flavor for future generations.

This artwork was featured in Live, Love, Dream, Feminine Intent, ImageWriting and The Love Of Eerie and Enchanting Artwork This piece reflects the period of transition in which I currently find myself. It’s the end of the year, and naturally I’m thinking of how much I’ve evolved creatively over the last year. I’ve just completed my first poetry book, which is currently in production, and now I find myself looking “beyond my sight” to see what lies out there waiting to be discovered. Inspired by the song Becoming by Jewel. Unfortunately, I cannot find it anywhere online due to copyright issues, so I can’t provide a link. Created from 2 stock photos and a variety of digital effects. Image updated December 30 2008. ...Stock credits... / background and model / various brushes / Stock copyrights remain the property of their respective owners.
