A photo of San Francisco skyline, looking eastward, shot after dusk on a cloudy night. This is a seamlessly stiched panoramic shot with a lot of sharp detail. Most of the famous landmarks are in this shot: Bay Bridge, Transamerica building, BofA Building, Coit Tower etc. Yerba Buena island and East Bay / Oakland is in the background.
The old lighthouse at Hoylake on the Wirral.
New City Skyline, Buffalo, NY. Note the Peace Bridge barely visible on the far left side. On clear days the mist from Niagara Falls is visible from this distance through the telephoto. Check out our new green energy spinning in the left of the photo. Interested to hear everyone’s views on the wind mills…

I am a purple lover and this is one of my favorite shots of a mini cottage at a campground at Hatteras, North Carolina. I was inspired by a fellow bubbler who worked one of his favs. Thought I would give it a go. Sorry Mr. Ha #2….

Alone in her thoughts she ponders of things yet to come… Location – Sliema, Malta This picture was not intentional, but was created by chance . This was to be a photo shoot of my friend Jane (pictured here). She had a very naughty dog with her and was constantly chasing it. / You cant see the dog here, I think it was out of the shot or in a crevice in the rocks somewhere. / Anyway, I saw the moment and took it. / I learned a lesson too. Do not take a frisky pet with you at a photo-shoot. / But if it wasn’t for the dog I would not have taken this shot, and I would not be here typing this text, so I guess I have to thank the dog after all. lol

I was down at Main Beach last night (passing some time before my choir rehearsal) and captured this eerie image from what is left of the beach. The wild weather last week has completely decimated the sand dunes and beaches along the entire Northern NSW and Southeast QLD coastline. Heavy machinery is being used to shore up the dangerous scarp lines along the dunes and to provide access to the beaches again. Location: Main Beach, Gold Coast, QLD. / Date: 26th May 2009 [Creative Effects: Colour removal, Contrast and Shadow adjustments with Photoshop CS3] Image details: Camera: Canon EOS400D (Lens: EF-S18-55mm) / Shutter Speed: 0.6 secs / Aperture Value: f 5.0 / ISO Speed: 800
80% Focus. Another blue sky winter’s day on the Gold Coast’s Surfers Paradise beach comes to an end. Looking up the beach with Focus(building with a lean) towards Main Beach, Gold Coast
Looking down the beach towards the Hi-Rises of Surfers Paradise with Q1 towering above them at sunset.
