‘Iliki’ Spirit of Aloha is a mixed media production on canvas textured paper using ink, pastel, acrylic and charcoal. My darling ‘Illiki’ was inspired by James Michener’s novel ‘Hawaii’ and the beautiful young hawaiian girl who is one of the charming characters early on in the story. I was completely swept away during the reading of this incredible novel, highly recommended reading :D

’’Asian Series’ card by Karin Taylor This is one of my favourite pieces in the oriental series. / Two little friends falling asleep in their little boats whilst fishing for their supper. / I really enjoyed mixing the colours for this painting, I used colour swatches from paint charts to decide on the colour scheme, and just went to work intuitively mixing til I got the right colours…they are grungier than my other pics and I love the effect…hope you like them too :D

ali is a sensual girl. she loves live and love being in the sun. on discovering her power at a deeper level recently, and developing a passion for sexuality, we decided to play with the elements at the estuary in belongil beach in Byron bay, a sunny day and handcuffs. the crossover between submission and being in bondage and the beauty of the surroundings was phenomenal, we were touched by a spirit this day and the camera was a channel for a greater being. when we downloaded, we were without speech… I have a whole series of this shoot, they are many, let me know if you would like to see more, I am sure you will agree.
