I am the biggest BIGFOOT fan, so it was about time I did a tee featuring this badass cryptozoological creature!!! Bigfoot, sasquatch, yeti, skunk ape, etc. He goes by many names all around the world. But there is no mistaking that he is one bad mofo. This silhouette design was done in conjunction with A T-Shirt Revolution’s Inspired by Silhouettes Challenge. It was between two images and everyone seemed to like this image better. VOTE SASSY-QUATCH!!!! This is a take on the popular Halloween icon, the Jack-o-Lantern. Halloween is a huge holiday around these parts and I certainly go ALL out when it comes to the festivities. My favorite Halloween icon has to be the Jack-o-Lantern (a.k.a. “carved pumpkin”). It is a tradition in our house to carve several of these round pieces of awesomeness each year. This was inspired by a pumpkin that my brother, Mike, carved last year (hence the name). This one is for T-Shirt Revolution’s 24 Hour T-Shirt Challenge: Inspired by Triangles. What a batty bat! “Bats” make me think of vampires. / Vampires make me think of fangs. / Fangs make me think of “blood” / “Blood” makes me think of “Blood Type”. / “Blood Type” makes me think of “O-Positive”. / “O-Positive” makes me think of “A Happy Outlook On Life”. So, in all actuality, this shirt could very well be the catharsis of everyday happiness that we have all been searching for…in a six-degree-of-kevin-bacon sort of way…or it could just be a really cool t-shirt? I spotted this Graffiti Monster on the side of the road while cruising the streets of San Fransisco. He seemed to be begging me to photograph him…so I did. My partner calls him “Handy” because of his one hand, so the name just sort of stuck. HE was standing there, just outside the cottage, waiting for Beth to return to the fields.
