A selection of artwork featuring women
Big beauty belly dances with her cool cat.
The voluptuous woman stands on the scale, with the scales of justice in one hand. Did she lose weight? Or is her weight perfect just the way it is? / Big beauty promotes size acceptance!

More inspiration from The Big Ballet. If I had a browser that I could deal with better (or a screen) I’d link to information on it for you. I’m very happy with the way this turned out, as it reminds me of fairies, delicacy, womanliness, and stained glass.
There is, or was, a show called The Big Ballet that featured less than (more than?) slim persons. I have not seen it, only pictures from it, but I like the idea. So, here is a piece inspired by the photos from the show. Consider it an homage to individuality.
Bubble, bubble, no toil, no trouble
lol when I say mostly digital, I mean it was mostly easy and mostly done by applying effects. There was some brief line drawing and coloring in done, though. I was looking for a certain effect, not to obvious and I got it. Sometimes, that’s all that counts.
Saw her wandering along the Southbank and had to capture her. In a world where size 10 is fat I love the fact she’s embracing her size, maybe even being a little cheeky with it. Go her – she rocked!

Fun with photo manipulations .. .err … treatments, plus some painting. Why? Oh, because I am up to early, once again, but I wasn’t sure if I should be staying up or not, until I turned on the computer (aka: my clock). At which point I realized, there is not much point in going to bed, as it was 4:38 in the AM (aka: too early for wake; yet, too late for sleep). I had already decided, since I wouldn’t be sleeping, that I would write out a healthy and cheap menu plan for my family, in the hopes of us wasting less money at the grocery store. Good plan! Except, that, as I have mentioned previously, I have way too much stuff on my computer! And, to do up the menu plan proper, I think it would only be wise to use the ‘Big Oven’ program which was actually paid for a year ago or so; and which, includes functions for storing recipes, altering recipe sizes, and printing off shopping lists. So, I decided I had better get some of the stuff off my computer, to better make room for the Big Oven program. Which means I opened the folder ‘Documents’ which led to open the file ‘Images’ which led to me looking at a rather unattractive photo of myself which led to this being made. Isn’t that the way everyone’s mornings go? Photo this was created from: /
Artist’s Comments / hmmm .. well, I mostly got that top for the sake of taking pictures, but .. I sure wonder where it’s got to now! yes it is glamour. Usually wouldn’t wear silk or make-up, you know? It’s a technique for sort of down-street glamour. Kind of like the way one dresses up by dressing down. Hence the choice of backgrounds. It is also a self portrait. (old comment, which made more sense at the time)
This is one of my first few bbw model illustrations to showcase, looks cool enough, hoping to add more soon.
This is the first I wasn’t finished and wasn’t sure to post but I like her figure pose so I had to post it anyway. lol!! I like the scene overall took serveral hours to render too.
The same with this one also took serveral hours to do so I’m pretty much tired after all those hours, the key here was over scenery and lighting no doubt I had to make this one good. Enjoy!!
Newest illustration showcased, thanks for viewing.
