Another attempt where the focus is on the flowers. I’m still debating whether it would look better like this or if the background is gray scaled. Menlo Charity Horse Show ‘08

What looked like a very unpromising afternoon with gale-force winds and torrential rain settled down a little as the sun set. I was planning on getting further around the bay towards Mumbles but the light was changing so quickly I stopped where I was and captured as many images as I could as the sun set. A few more images taken from the same place: sunset 2 / sunset 3 / cloudscape

Back into the editing, still a lot to go which is good, looks like I got a few decent images. This one was taken shortly after the other Bunker Bay shot, the clouds were gorgeous and I would have taken more shots if I could. I shot the sky at -1EV to make sure I got lots of detail in; I really need to invest in some graduated filters. Canon 5D Mark II – 24-70 2.8L @ 24mm 0.8sec. f/11 ISO100
This is a shot from Day 2 of the big South West photo trip. So it turns out you can take pictures during the the day; who would have known? Canon 5D Mark II – 24-70 2.8L @ 24mm 6sec. f/8 ISO100 10 Stop ND
My Wife headed out dinner last saturday night for her work, so Jack and I headed down to St Kilda Peir. I was hopping to get a sunset shot from the end of the pier but it was getting to windy and cold so we headed back in. The sun finally set when we got all the way back to the road. So i took advantage of a walk over bridge and took this shot.
