Taken one afternoon before sunset at Sheppards park, Stuart, Florida
An Historical fishing dock in Sebastian Florida, USA, where once fish were loaded from the docks into these railroad cars to a small cannery now decaying and waiting for the money to be restored as an Historical part of Sebastian.
Not exactly “Pirates of the Caribbean, but lets say it was part of my imagination at the time….LOL ... enjoy
Its not about the fish

While entering Captains Bay in Dutch Harbor, Alaska you can start to see the Westward Seafood plant at the base of the mountains. I love the summer when the plants covering the mountainsides looks as if they were covered in green velvet!
I have waited for a while before putting these images up on Bubble. Not sure how they will be received – I mean to overexpose and defocus is not playing by the photographic rules. Taken at Jurien Bay Jetty in Western Australia. I had been making images all week and wanted to try something different so I overexposed by 2-3 stops and purposefully defocussed. I love the colours and odd shapes. What do you think?

Parry’s is another of those Southern Ocean beaches that is a few kms off the main highway and, as a result, does not attract all that many visitors. It does have it’s regulars, though and they are accommodated in a caravan park right at the water’s edge. In the main it is fisher folk who are “hooked” on staying here (pardon the pun!) / It would be some 25kms west of the small West Australian town of Denmark and perhaps 475 kms or so south of Perth. It is well worth the detour to get here and for walkers this is where the fabled Bibulmun Track descends to the beach for the few kms to William Bay, way up there in the distance. / Camera Sony Alpha 350 dslr / 18-70 lens with nd4 filter / f8 @ 1/250 sec / hand held
Silhouette of my husband in the early morning gearing up to fish in Neah Bay, Washington. This image might can be suitable for the fisherman in your life. (c: Camera: Nikon D60 / Lens: 60mm f/2.8
Nature does a good job of creating the sunset and then framing it :-)
