Spanish City is in Whitley Bay (UK) and was a place where tourist would flock too. It has the most beautiful beaches but unfortunately there has been a decline in the urban side – however, saying that there is apparently a commitment for regeneration. What makes me sad is that we allow things to fall into this kind of disrepair in the first place – beautiful places like this are blighted by closed down hotels, pubs, amusement parks and cafes. This is part of my college project.

This is a shot of a cargo vessel heading out from the mouth of the River Shannon across Ballybunion Bay in the eastern Atlantic Ocean. The shot was taken with a telephoto lens from Knockanore Mountain (really a large hill) some two miles from shore as the préachán flies. / /

For some reason this reminds me of a scene from Moby Dick… minus the whale of course. / / I was actually going Cod fishing with some friends for the first time off the Eastern coast of Newfoundland…. just had to bring the camera of course. Those clouds on the horizon kicked up such a fierce wind and it created some very large swells that relieved me of my lunch lol! Under the pier at Cowes, Phillip Island, Victoria, Australia at Dawn. Taken at the same time as Beginning of a new day for something a little bit different.
