  • Taken at Weymouth, Dorset in Spring 2007 / Photographer: GlennB / Glenn Bauer of Wiltshire, England A large number of these had been released from their pen by activists under cover of darkness the night before. I found this one a little apart from the heard just chilling in the gentle Atlantic waves off Southern England’s coast.

  • Digital poster of my favorite Federal Agent.

  • Shot in June 2008

  • Taken in Cheddar, Somerset 2008. The building is actually a hotel rather than a pub.

  • The latest theory is that Stonehenge was a place of healing. / Whatever it’s purposes, to me the henge is a remarkable monument to the dogged determination of our ancestors. I did a written piece on Stonehenge & Avebury titles “Standing Stones of Wiltshire” and was blown away by the distances the stones were hauled. “Staggering” is the term that comes to mind – pun fully intended.

  • Taken Summer of 2008 / Photographer: GlennB / Glenn Bauer, Wiltshire in England Dramatic image of mystical elements among ancient, neolithic standing stones which have endured in the face of modernisation and fading beliefs. / Such standing stones can be seen in Wiltshire at Stonehenge and also Avebury.

  • Taken in under misty conditions Autumn 2008, Gloucestershire, England

  • “How morning breaks so sweetly and coloured to with good promise…” / GlennB

  • Image of part of the wood along Coate Water taken at dawn though with the sun shrouded in cloud and very pale. / Shot with a Canon D40 and enhanced using Photoshop Location: Coate Water, Swindon, Wiltshire, England Listed on Page 4 of Google search “Autumn Island” – 3 Nov 08

  • Inspiration for this image and a planned set of similar shots is the native rock art and cave paintings found in Africa, particularly art produced by the Khoe-San / in their traditional settings.

  • I’ve improved the colouring on this version, losing the reds & yellows. Least I feel it’s an improvement on the original “Night Mare”. / Artist: GlennB / Glenn Bauer, Wiltshire, England

  • Ink on Paper / 24×36” / 2007

  • Inspired by the music of David Bowie and Coney Island’s Mermaid Parade.

  • Standing near Madonna Della Salute and looking across at the Venetian waterfront, one can see a different perspective of St. Mark’s, the Doge Palace, and famous hotels and their docks.

  • To Richard St. Barbe Baker who did so much for us through his reforestation efforts. He began the organisation “The Men of the Trees” in 1922 while working with the Kikuyu in Kenya. Estimates put the numbers of trees planted directly or indirectly throught the efforts of this organisation at something like 20 Trillion!! The Men of the Trees is now known as the International Tree Foundation. Thank you Richard St. Barbe Baker.

  • A small tribute to the SystemKings (R.I.P.) / The subject matter is based on Marius Bauer’s / “My Broken Heart” http://customize.org/wallpapers/41205 / Revisited an older style of mine, trying to mix it up a bit from my usual work.

  • Stock image of a Robin great for use on a card.

  • Winter Wren searches vainly for a meal.

  • Jack Bauer, 24. Have you got the Power of the Bauer?
