  • This is Dokkoon, one of the new arrivals at Melbourne Zoo, having her morning bath.

  • The MIL lived in an old farmhouse Nr Looe and this was an actual old working stove on which she did her cooking. The recounting of her childhood gave me the idea as to how children bathed in earlier times. Shot two days before we emigrated to Australia 13 yrs ago, this is taken from a scanned and cropped neg portraiture

  • Conrhenny farm near Creg-ny-Ba

  • This is another drawing I did based upon the work of those golden age of pin-up artists. This time I chose Joyce Ballantyne from the many files I have on my PC. Her pin-up showed a girl sitting on a wooden pile on a pier holding her hat. I copied the basic pose but featured her in the bathroom instead… hey at least I kept the water connection! Run a google search you’ll find a pic of hers eventually.

  • Towels and a bar of soap on the side of a large tub with the faucet and a vase blurred in the background

  • hahhaah / this was inspired by people using ballons to float around in lawnchairs / and then i thought / why not a bath tub / xD ehh i really llike blue or yellow but im having a difficult time choosing the default

  • Hi everyone. This is my first attempt to try a low key, almost seamless backdrop without using photoshop to burn the background. I am pleased that the backdrop turned out the way it did. I used black material and had him about 4 feet from the backdrop. Canon 40D, 70-200 L Lens, 2 softbox, one on each side. Update: Jake’s Bath Time Fun was featured (10.19.08) in the Group The Beginners’ Corner Thanks so much to Angi and the group. Much appreciated!! I know this is not an original type of pose/props, but I wanted some feedback/critique on this please. More for lighting and setup. I used 2 large softboxes, one to the right (my right) and one in center above my camera. If you notice the catch-lights in his eyes seem to high, so I think I needed to lower the lights down as I did have them higher than him. Also, I forgot to use a plexi to reflect the bubbles and know they look a bit “fake”. Thanks in advance!! Check out more of Jake here and his sister Kaylie here

  • Sienna and Rayden (my chocolate lab and my son’s yellow lab pups) were playing hard and needed a bath! 10/15/08 – Featured in Respectful Retrievers TUBBY TIME /

  • I took this picture of my niece while she was taking a bath a few months ago. I was testing out my new SLR trying to see how well I could freeze the water when she spit it from her mouth. I have to say I think I did fairly well.

  • A little girl and her little bear friend have adventures in their imaginary world – but here they find themselves in a predicament. I reuploaded this – made some changes.. :) Hope you enjoy it. Claudia

  • Trying out some new props … picked up the antique washtub on ebay and am very pleased with it. Also got some ‘bubbles’ and a big rubber duck!! I know its a bit of a cliche but I had to try it!! Milo made a grab for the bubbles and went mad throwing them all over the place, it was funny and frustrating!!!
