Lovers’ Point, Pacific Grove, CA…, shot on a recent trip to the Monterey Peninsula….06/03/09 12:50 AM low tide and a clear day……the fog burnt off by about 9:00 AM and the rest of the day was gorgeous. This image is taken North of Lovers’ Point from Ocean View Drive….in this shot you can see the Old Bathhouse….(the darker structure directly above the beach on the left) renovated a few times over, but still where I recall the original bathhouse that I remember from my childhood. The ocean was calm, not a wave breaking…the cool refreshing sea breeze was a nice feeling after the recent heat wave in Northern California. / / /

Shaya, the bald eagle…I am lucky enough, to be given the privilege to Visit Shaya on a regular basis on Vancouver Island Canada…She is so beautiful, and so majestic…at the time of this shot…Shaya was just being fed…and I was lucky enough to capture this moment… I spend a lot of time with birds of prey…and I am learning every day how to photograph them better…I am self taught, so anytime I get something like this…I just get even more excited about photography, and all of its possibilities…and can’t wait to get out, and take more photographs…I am quickly learning that birds of prey are my favorite subject… Canon 50D, 75-300 lens…Action/Auto mode…
