Batford Springs is a small nature reserve beside the River Lea as it flows between Harpenden and Batford. This image shows an old mill pond through which a side channel of the river flows before joining the main current over a little weir.

At Batford in Hertfordshire there is an old millpond, now part of a small nature reserve. The water flows over a little weir to rejoin the River Lea. This image is similar to one I have already uploaded, but I think the slightly different composition makes it worthwhile. The image has been processed in HDR from three bracketed RAWs.
