  • Saw this recently and just had to make a shirt – we all know someone like this…..

  • I actually drew quite a few years ago. It is of course, Based on Michelangelo Buonarroti’s “The Creation of Adam” from the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. There is no doubt in my mind that if the man were alive today and saw this, he would scream at me in a language I don’t understand while using cuss words appropriate to his period, then possibly call me a heretic and damn me to an eternity in hell. I thought it was funny though.

  • This is Snowdrop, my sweet little Maltese. She is very patient with me when taking photographs, and usually stays in the desired position until I tell her she can move ! She seems to anticipate what I am after. We have a Web Site which you can visit, there is a little true heartwarming story, with some more nice cute and colourful photographs, a slide show, and a musical photo book. • I have tried out a little layering here, and to me it almost looks like the flowers are under water, or out in space ! Good fun !

  • This is one of my treasured moments. Snowdrop was sitting on a window seat in my bedroom where she always is when I am getting ready to go out. She watches very closely to see what I am wearing, as I believe my apparel seems to give her some information as to where we are going. I only go out once or twice a year without her, (excluding work when she is at home with my husband) and this was one of those evenings. She always seems to know – could it be my clothes, it is a formal evening, so my garments are indeed different. She sits like this, and the question is in her eyes, “What is happening Mummy ” ? I think I managed to captured the look and question here, then I gave her a kiss, and said that I had to leave her, but would be back soon. If I had my very own choice, I would never go out without her, but once or twice a year is just about tolerable ! • Kenilworth Castle is set in acres of beautiful grounds in the heart of Warwickshire, overlooking wonderful English countryside. Built in the 13th century, it has hosted royalty through the ages, including Edward II, Henry III and Henry V – who moved in fresh from victory over the French at the Battle of Agincourt. But it is most associated with Queen Elizabeth I, who stayed in 1575 when she was famously romanced by the dashing Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester. With spectacular pageantry, plays, music and dancing, Dudley lavishly wooed the ‘Virgin Queen’ within the walls and extensive grounds of Kenilworth Castle – but marriage was tragically never to be…
