This one is for those who were with me who chose to exercise while I took photos – makes no sense to me …. but I promised to share my impressions of Barwon Heads. Also to Linda who, against her better judgement, dragged herself out of bed to drive me down to the beach.
A quiet balmy evening on the coast at 13th Beach near Barwon Heads, Victoria. If there was ever a spot to forget your troubles and lower your heart rate, this is it, one of my favorite places to just walk and do nothing in particular.
This pelican, standing on the edge, in the dawn light, was deciding whether or not to jump in to the river. I was going to give him 10 seconds of “thinking music” but I didn’t have a CD player with me, so I just took his photo instead !!

Mr Weatherman forecast rain for the next 7 days. Not taking his advice i decided to try my luck out yesterday morning. Well there wasn’t any light, but also no rain, so that’s a bonus! Only a small exposure adjustment needed in post for this one. I’m loving my 50D.
