Mountain Hut on a alpine pasture in Austria
Morning mist surrounding a unique country barn.
old barn with infrared touch
This is another woodshed shot, taken at the Ganaraska Forest. Like “The Woodshed”, it conjures some wild mental images. lol
Contrast the humble barn with the magnificent mediaeval basilica at St Bertrand de Comminges in Ariege, France
Ohio Farm
Another view of a farm. Ohio.
Amish Farm-Ohio
The old Hotel lounge area, the fire surround has been removed, but undamaged, it is lying on the floor, you can just see the bottom corner in the picture, i did try to put it back up for the shot but it was too damn heavy for me on my own!
another of that great morning jan 28th, / yes, another fog shot! :O)
An old abandoned barn i drove past between Buxton and Taggerty. Saw it on the way up and thought I’ve gotta take a photo of that when I come back past. Luckily when driving back past I remembered and saw some beautiful rays coming from the stormy clouds. I,ve always dreamt of getting some sun rays but hadn’t yet happened until now. Had to get my lens in between wires on an electric fence to take it but I think it was worth the risk. 3 exposures, HDR in Photomatix and converted to black and white in Adobe Lightroom. On Saturday the 7th of February my family lost our home away from home at Marysville, as well as our two Rhodesian Ridgebacks and our Abyssinian cat. My condolences go to anyone who also lost family, friends or property on this terrible weekend, and I know deep down that Marysville will be back and better than ever, in the near future…
View from inside an old barn looking out at yellow finches on a branch.

When I noticed this snowy scene, it was too late to stop. I simply had to find a safe place to turn around so I could grab this shot. This “As-Is” photo was taken with a Canon EOS 10D body fitted with a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L Zoom lens, at the 17mm “Ultra-Wide” focal length. The shutter speed was 1/45th sec at f/13. The camera’s ISO was set to 100. A Manfrotto, tripod was used with a remote shutter release cable. No type of post-processing has been applied to the image, except to convert the photo from RAW to Jpeg format. Your comments are always welcome!
