Barefoot Bowls – Social Meet Up Sunday 1st June from 2pm at Petersham Bowling Club / 77 Brighton Street Petersham (it’s close to Parramatta Rd and walking distance from buses and Petersham Train Station) $10 p.p. if you want to play bowls otherwise its free to come and socialise. There will be Jazz playing on the green and the Thai Restaurant is open from 4.30pm for dinner. This is going to be an awesome afternoon of fun, photo opportunities and laughter so please express your intention to attend here so I have an idea of numbers. Remember you DON’T have to be able to play bowls to attend – there will be someone there to instruct those who do want to play. Even if you are only Sydney for the weekend – PLEASE come along we would love to see you! This is going to be so much fun!

Wishing everyone a terrific Christmas and the best of all New Years in 2009…... We’re all artists here, following one discipline or another to find our way, to find some means of expressing the internal churning that brings on midnight revelations and burning flesh, short-circuited relationships & psychotic episodes that even a mother’s love has trouble forgiving. Thank God we all found each other on RedBubble. / And speaking of which, and speaking of Christmas, here’s some good advice from Jesus on his coming birthday, who had a way with words and an understanding heart. / I will retype it here for yuletide salve. / / “Enter through the narrow gate, for the gate is wide and the road is easy that leads to destruction, and there are many who take it. / For the gate is narrow and the road is hard that leads to life, and there are few who take it.” / Mathew 7.13.14 I make a toast to the narrow gate and hard road that leads to life, and to all ye few, ye roselipped maids & barefoot lads, who race that road…....Salut! With much love to all and peace in our hearts, / Barbara
