  • On a certain river bank / Where my love loves walking / I cannot but be frank: / The photographer went stalking. And there from behind a wall / I saw my love appear: / He was so fine, so slim, so tall / As he approached the pier. He stopped, looked at the time, / My heart cried “I am here, / My dear, darling, love sublime…” / Till I saw her draw near. She paused. They smiled. I froze. On a certain river bank / Where my love loves walking / He found himself another rose / And I gave up stalking. (c) Cornelia Togea This partcular river bank is from Genva. A beautiful city.

  • Mother nature presented me on a last October evening with one of those sunsets that you can hope to see just once a year if you’re lucky. / High layers of scattered clouds, a pure, clean atmosphere and the fact that at the end of october the twilight lasts almost a hour, all this elements contributed in producing a stunning natural show. This is the Po River near to Carignano in Piedmont, Italy. I hope you enjoy it, thanks for dropping by. Paolo

  • Captured on a very bright sunny winter’s day in December down by the banks of the Ottawa River after a fresh snowfall. The late afternoon sun cast very long shadows that accentuated the loneliness of the park bench while also conjuring up the summer past. Taken behind Parliament Hill in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Also appears in the calendar Reflections of the Seasons

  • Notre Dame, Paris, captial city of France. The last in my Notre Dame series. I created six versions of this shot, trying different textures, colours and layers, but this was the first one that moved toward a theme or emotion that I wanted. It feels quite lonely and stripped of hope to me, but I’m sure it will have varied meaning to the individual. 8 layers of texture from www.deviantart.com free use stock – Amurrr. Lightened each layer, adjusted hue and colour levels, blended each with 3 layers of the photo, one b&w, one colour and one desaturated. Flattened image and further colour tweaking and adjusting. Canon SX100IS Edited and layered 9pm MCN: C5T31-6FEVA-GM6TW
