I created this character (Bam) a while ago. He had been sitting by himself on a blank page for the longest time until I could work out what sort of environment I wanted to put him in. He’s got a kind of look and pose like your mother would have if you did something wrong. For example, playfully tripping up your little sister or accidently letting a nuclear explosion off in the backyard. So thats how the background image came to be. Kinda wanted it to be an environmental statement in a way. Let it be what ever you want it to be though!
Bam T-shirt , booooom!
Really just a shot of an advertisment on Londons Tube, taken in 2002 with an Olympus Miu which is still one of my favourite cameras of all time though alas now its broken. The camera worked well for a compact in low light giving you an option of a slow setting in one or other of its mode forms. I have a digital version now but still think the analogue was the best. This photo provided me with food and flights when I was broke so I like it for that at the least. Sold again and again.
I had the opportunity to photograph Bam Margera from Jackass and Viva La Bam when he came over from America in October 2007 to open the Element Skate Shop at Manly. Here is one for the fans…..!!!

This is a tree standing at the side of a road between two villages. Each time when I pass there with my car, I see this tree and think that it is just a perfect tree. / Today I stopped and took the first picture of my friend the tree :) / It is not easy to park at that spot, but I made the project to photograph him now during one year again and again showing his beauty throughout the seasons.
