Bic round stic and Liquid Paper pen on paper.
Original is blue ballpoint pen on A3 paper. Tweaked it a bit with the Gimp after scanning . Copyright Celia Coulter 2004 This grew as I doodled away but in the end I think this description is appropriate: A city absorbs its shadow, pulling geometric shapes from the darkness as it leans in on itself.

Wonderful Hasmig x ElYPares, / You are so talented. This would make a great illustration for a Children’s Book. I love it!!! / It could be a story about a fishergirl who is the best in her land. What do you think??? I’m smiling thinking about the possibilities. ElYPares, / All the illustration’s would be great for this concept. cheetaah in reply to ElYPares’s comment, / Thanks a lot, I’m not good at it, You’re the PRO……if you want to do it, I have no problem at all. PERUGINA, / Hasmig these are just lovely and to think that you still managed to express your self creatively using what you had at your disposal…albeit coloured pens… I think i would have been the same as drawing was just a necessary part of life. / Thanks for sharing these and happy for you to have remembered these days with love. Roger Sampson, / You always amaze me Hasmig! Everything you do has such simple beautiful quality to it. It is so elegant it astounds me. It truly does. Maybe you should consider adding some dilute watercolour washes to this? cheetaah in reply to Colin Cartwright’s comment, / Thanks Colin, It’s done on a very thin basic plain paper, which I do not think I can make it wet. I am thinking may be one day all my old works IF I have the time to redo them on canvas, those old days I had no idea what was a canvas….. now I know. I appreciate for your honest comment. Thanks a lot. Nira Dabush, / So unique and Magnificent, Cheetaah Dayonda, / Very nice use of materials available! It’s amazing what we can do with just a bit.
