Thanks to Jordie and Jacquei who modelled and did the shoot… i really appreciate this so much 2 sales of this tee so far Love is a BIG Hug TShirt is a super-cute design on brown paper using mixed media… chalk pastels, charcoal, felt tip pen, coloured pencil and photoshop were used in this mixed media creation This is a new version of the design which I created a while ago, I’ve slimmed her down and set her to one side of the tee, which can give you a slimmer look when wearing the tee For a long while now, i’ve had an image burned in my brain of a little girl holding out her heart… I have had dreams of myself doing the same sort of thing… and this was what i came up with. I didn’t mean for it to be so super-cute… perhaps i’ll do a more serious version someday…with her heart held in her hands… but for now, here’s the cute version…by far the cutest thing i’ve ever created!

During a recent visit to our lovely friends home in Painswick, Gloucestershire, in England, I was asked to photograph some of the rooms for our friends as they were preparing to move back to the States after nearly 5 years here. We enjoyed so much our stays with them and will miss it greatly. I love this old cottage in which they lived. This shot is of their daughters room who is now away at a college in West Texas. Our little girl stayed in this lovely room and was intrigued with the collection of books and of course the shoes. My daughter loves ballet and enjoyed the pair hanging on the wall, as well as the glittering ruby shoes sitting comfortably on the dresser. I thought this to be a lovely image which shows the collection of memories and treasures that their daughter has collected over the years. “Time moves on, one tick at a time. The memories these shelve hold tells this story of mine. Journeys I have taken and moments I have shared, give my life direction for the storms left to fare. I hold these treasured thoughts tightly close to my heart, as I venture in this world with new chapters to start.” This is a HDR image combining 6 bracketed shots using Photomatix Pro for Macs.
