    I love baking bread! My nanna said I kneeded dough just right! / My first real paid job was in a bakery This was my 13th poem brought on by teaching my children how to make bread / I feared the flat hard result was from being too over kneaded but it tasted magnificent for all the love and laughter we had poured into it! / I remembered my own mother teaching me and the elated feeling that I could do what a shop did! It was a successful venture as my children felt that too! But Cookies and Muffins are easier! :o) The bread didn’t work! I’m glad the poem did! / Enjoy :o) [- I suggest you read aloud just one or two lines of the group of six]

  • The Baker’s Dozen calendar features the travel photography of Australian journalist and photographer, Darren Stones. Maybe some of my best works – I’m not sure. Sure was fun making them.
