  • At the Ocean Park Aquarium in Hong Kong.

  • This was taken in the summer of 2007 at a favorite spot of mine at Jones Valley on Shasta Lake, CA, about 16 miles north east of Redding, CA….It was a perfect day and the light was very cooperative with me and my camera…..this has become one of my favorite places to just kick back and relax….and the fishing is not bad, an added plus. Common species most often caught here are Bass, Crappie, and Trout. It is also well known for camping, hiking and boating. / __ / All The Materials Contained May Not Be Reproduced, Copied, Edited, Published, Transmitted Or Uploaded In Any Way Without My Permission. • I uploaded this for for Helen Bascom, as I was totally amazed to see she has a piece in her portfolio that is very similar. I took this shot on Nov. 11.2007, Remembrance day at Lions Park in Kelowna, and at that time had not seen the photo Helen has in her portfolio so you can imagine my surprise when I came across it today while surfing the bubble. What a coincedence!

  • “Jail Bait” ~ Papaya and shadow ~ August 2008

  • Looking across the estuarine harbour at Teignmouth in South Devon, three local sand eel fishermen were unpacking their traditional wooden traps filled with sand eels and packing them into boxes, ready to sell as fishing bait for sea anglers. What looked like their first customer of the day had started fishing only a few feet away from where they were unloading the small eels, he obviously wanted to make sure his bait was as fresh as it could be. • We had a mouse that loved avocado. I set up a few mouse traps and after a couple of nights woke up to hear a lot of crashing an banging in the kitchen. It wasn’t till the next afternoon I found the poor little mouse in my living room with the trap around his head. I felt really bad for using the mouse trap. This picture captures the look the poor little thing had when I found him. If you have a mouse, maybe just hide you food for a few weeks. scotty /
