This is a composite photo taken in Shalimar, FL near the edge of the bay. It was a glorious summer night. I applied the NIK skylight filter to deepen the reds in the picture. I also shot the sun on the same night to the west of the bank. I’ve combined them for a rich summer night shot. / /
Another shot taken when my water housing and 20D were still operational. This is a mate of mine, Brad.
Took this at my best friend’s wedding last year, this was her bouquet….isn’t it lovely and perfect bunch of roses? :-)
Taken in macro from behind and underneath the flowers. The vase holding them is sitting directly in front of a window and hence the white light around it. It’s my personal favourite from my flowers macro, only because I think that the whole back lit from the front makes it different and interesting. I am learning a lot from taking lots of shots and seeing the results!

Featured in Family Unlimited / Featured in Love For Your Children / —September 09 -- thank you very much! Mila (2) keeps sitting on the window sill to keep me company while I run on my treadmill and the light behind her is so pretty that I keep wanting to take a shot. In the end I indulged my desire to take yet another portrait of Mila, as I so often do. Now maybe I can run on my treadmill tomorrow without itching to get hold of my camera. I hope so.
