A street photo taken at Changi Airport, Singapore. Using the natural light as backlighting, these people were quickly snapped in silhouetted as they were walking away. I’m surprised how similar these people are. They echoed each other in terms of being in a pair. Also, the pairs in the foreground are single dad with their only child. All this captured at the time 16:57.

This one was a fun shoot, lots of lighting experiments… WIDE open aperture and strong back lighting under the palm leaf and I finally for the result I wanted, with a 2 shot HDR merge. Full moon of the 7th July 2009. Unfortunately the moon rise this evening was cloudy, didn’t show till late. Same with the Moonset :( Oh well, I’m sure it’s not going anywhere!! :) Canon 50D, 400mm. This is taken in the Cape of San Vicente in Portugal :) / It said that this place has one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world :) / I know that composition is very simple and the photo isn’t a complicated thing but I like especially the people distributed in the picture :) / This small heterogeneous group of people… is a small representation of society itself! ;P I love the experience of seeing the sunset at Cape… Every summer hundreds of people from around the world gather in the rocky cliff together to admire this wonder of nature. When the last ray of sun is hidden in the sea… all break into applause at the same time.
