Hello all, As you may have noticed, my comments are coming in slowly… I’m just in a panic because there are a lot of things which I have to get ready for before school. But at the same time I still want to do art. I was so happy to find this community and do art again; I haven’t enjoyed art this much since high school. In my university program there are no summer vacations; school and internships rotate constantly. In school I’m always too busy to do any of my own art, and during internships, if I’m working in another city I spend the time sight seeing. I worked in Toronto this time because I needed to save money in order to afford my upcoming exchange in Rome starting in September. During this time I decided to do more art again, and had more time for it because this internship is 8 months whereas my previous ones were only 4 months; then I found this lovely community. Now time is flying by and I hope to complete more pieces before I head off, though consequently that means I have less time to look and comment on new works, but I hope everyone understands… this is my only chance to enjoy doing art this much. I will still comment on your work, but just not as quickly and frequently. I may instead decide to visit your profiles and look through your portfolio rather than looking at what’s new. So my plan is that I’ll try to comment in the morning when I arrive at work, and after work, I’ll do what I need to do, and also do my art. I expect most of the new things will be miniature origami; it seems to be the most popular among my work; though I apologize to those who maybe tired of it :P Thank you everyone for being such wonderful people. I just know there will be days in school where I’ll need to get away from all the stress, and talk to people who I don’t see every single day. I hope you’ll all still be there for me then~ My love to you all…

Well friends, my week of site-seeing ends here. So to recap, last wednesday I saw the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, The Piazza Del Popolo, Piazza Napoleone and more. I’ve posted some albums on my last journal and I’ve added a new one from that day: Piazza Barberini and Piazza Del Popolo On Saturday I went to St. Peter’s – I’ll show photos of those another time because I have way too many from that place (outside and inside) and will take a while to choose which to share. This place in fact drained my camera battery – the battery signal was flashing as I was leaveing that place; so I decided to get as much of Rome as I could until the battery was completely out and saw the Piazza Novana, Museo di Roma – Palazzo Braschi, Campo De’Fioro and more; none of those places I bothered to get a picture with myself in it because I’d have to ask somebody to take for me, but with the battery being low I thought it may be too troublesome. Pity, but atleast I got to see those places. Yesterday I went to Castel S. Angelo, where I got some nice shots of Rome from above (I’ll post some of those among my art), then the Vatican Museaum. It’s impossible to see all of the Vatican Museum in one day, but I read that the only features I really shouldn’t miss were the Rapheal Stanze and the Sistine Chapel, so I went to see those. Then I went back to St. Peter’s to take a few more pics and go to the museum there, went around a bit; and my camera battery started dying (it’s always because of the Vatican); so with what I had left in my camera battery I took some shots at night of the Piazza Venezia, the Roman Forums and the Colosseum. Today I’m taking it easy; for I don’t want to be dead on my first day of school (dreading…). I just looked at my term schedule; our first studio project (our studio class is worth 1.5 credits; so their projects are bigger) is due in two weeks, followed by another deadline 4 days after x _ x. Well I don’t know the details about our projects yet so maybe it won’t be bad; but generally we get a lot of work without enough time, and this term I live far from the school and doing my laundry by hand…

Hello all! Thank you to those who wished me a good trip and the birthday wishes on my last post :) I got back very late last night. Edinburgh and Barcelona was fun, though it does feel good to be home again; although London is not really my home… I do feel quite at home here; in Rome I did become homesick at some point, but here that’s not the case :o) I love London… and Japan; still my favourite place ~ I still miss those days of my intership there. Rome is nice, but not a place I would where I would settle down. Speaking of which, I’ll be heading back to Canada soon on Wednesday; goodness I’ve been away for 8 months! Sadly though, I only have at the most for day to spend at home in Canada before I head out of town to attend yet another semstre of school again; I’ll be very busy yet again. I’ll probably not post much on the bubble from now till the end of the next school semestre, except maybe some photos from my time here in Europe; I wish I had the time to post more art; that’s what I joined RB for initially; I’m already looking forward to the end of school!
