“THE STORY OF DESTINY She was separated from her Mother who had escaped into the frigid waters, during the terrifying confusion of the seal hunt. Meanwhile the Baby floated away alone, on a tiny raft of pack ice. She drifted throughout the night, desperately calling for her Mother. Morning came and found her miles from where the humans had caused such panic the day before. After many hours of lonely despair, the two loving Harp Seals found each other; finally safe from the reach of the fishermen! He’s quiet and shy but very loving.. he loves to nudge Julian with his little head.. and with his super cute baby eyes, Julian can’t help but adopt lil Kenny as his godson.. (bet he didn’t know that lil Kenny will outgrow him in size one day.. kekeke…) Yep, Kenny’s currently living at the same beach Tim and Julian posed for Summer Fun.. XD / this is my first time coloring with a wacom.. pretty fun.. This one I just happened to stumble upon just the other day. It was taken just about 3 years ago. Yes this is Trinity! She’s changed a little bit since then but she’s still as cute as ever! She really didn’t fuss much at all so I didn’t realize how tired she was until i looked over & saw her like this! Totally passed out!!!! Naturally I had to run for the camera first & then I put her in her crib. And she never woke up during any of it! Her older sister, Perrin, ran around behind her holding a black cloth to act as a ‘backdrop’ for me. In true 2 year old style, she decided today was the day that she would NOT smile, and as for looking at the camera… you can forget it. Keeping still was also not an option. So this is the end result of a frustrating shoot, but maybe the more interesting for it. Canon 400D, natural light, pp in photoshop CS2.

All of my children have had (or still have) curly hair, I cannot count the number of knots I’ve unknotted… Mila’s are especially bad as she winds her curls around her fingers until they’re completely entangled, sometimes trapping her fingers in the process. I love the quietness on her face in this portrait, and her eye lashes against her cheeks.
