....Today I saw a new life born and it was magical…..Taken within a moment of the actual birth, a home birth, very little space to work in, a camera I was unfamiliar with and very shaky hands, but I think I was still holding my breath. Wow what a moment. Kevyn :) Image copyright © 2006, krg – of elegantsavage. Copying and displaying or redistribution of this image without permission from the artist is strictly prohibited.

Jack and Nettie keep sheep mostly for their grandchildren’s pleasure. Spring has been busy at their farm with the arrival of at least a dozen lambs, several of which are twins. Here is a pair of girl twins. I thought I’d name them Jackie and Annette in honor of their shepherd and shepherdess. (And now that I think of it, Jack and Nettie have human daughters named Jackie and Annette!)
