A Newborn Fairy A Red Buble Member recently purchased The Dew Drop Baby and she left a message for me that I wanted to share with you… “I purchased this card for my friend who just found out she is pregnant with her first child. I love faries. Mother’s are much like faries – we take care of the ones we love when no one is watching”.

Usually a tag team like this isn’t really fair, but somehow I think that Mama Tiger can handle herself with these two. :) It’s nice to see tiger breeding programs in action, as tigers are on the critically endangered list. Unfortunately, these beautiful animals are the white bengal variant, which is not found naturally in the wild and is a product of the white tiger breeding trade. These beautiful and innocent tiger cubs were not bred by the zoo; rather, the mother tiger was rescued from a breeder and she was already pregnant when the zoo rescued her. In fact, the American Zoological Association prohibits its members from acquiring and breeding white tigers because the rate of genetic defects is high and the white tiger trade engages in terribly unethical practices. Click to see all of my tiger photos. 100% of the profits from the sale of this image will be donated to Big Cat Rescue.

Delightful baby welcomes home her parents. Taken in 1996 in Greystones Wicklow. I was taking portrait shots of the baby, she´s my cousins, through the kitchen back door window when the baby just latched herself onto the glass by her tongue and almost magnetically began to rise up the window frame. I could hardly take the picture for laughter. Group guidelines : / A fantastic Humorous card for many occasions, birthdays, births, suprises, invites etc! Buy a whole bunch now!

Baby rhino running rings around it’s mum and dad. It was so funny; looked like a puppy running up and down the hill, over to us and back to his parents then back to us again. Neowng! Here he is again – he’s skipped the ditch / A collaboration between Sam Cole-Surjan and I. Sam took the bush shot in Tolmey, near Mansfield Australia. I played with it and made The Yellow Dirt Road Then I added young Skippy here (sounds alot easier than it was). Hey! That’s my blood! I saw this woman as i wandered through a Rwandan hospital. There, in the stark hospital room, she sat admiring this tiny creature with such love and gentleness. Her contentment of knowing that this tiny baby was hers. / I could not resist but to capture it.

This was one of the feral kittens born to feral parents (an orange tabby and and a grey striped tabby) – Oscar (the orange) was very friendly with me. He lost his mamma as a kitten (spent his kitten-hood in our back yard with the little striped tabby). I don’t know where they ‘stayed’, but they came to my backdoor every morning for water and food (they knew I was such a sucker). The following spring there were four new little faces – this photo was just one of the kittens. I fed all 6 of them all summer, but worried about them over the coming winter that was to come. In October we live-trapped them and took them to the shelter where, happily, they all found homes – the kittens were parceled out one at a time (that made me sad) and Oscar and Mama (that’s what we called her) went together to a farm. 75% of my profit from all sales of this card will be donated to the local animal shelter. Baby Bull Production is something I created not that long ago. It’s a mixed media piece on canvas textured paper…...i did it in response to the chilled out cows at Mullumbimby, northern New South Wales, who seem to be very laid back, i suspect they are indulging in the ‘other’ kind of grass also….... they have this real chilled look about them, and I’ve never seen cows anywhere else that have this way about them. I put it in the Casino Art Exhibition and it was the only painting that sold, every year a male school teacher goes to that show, or so the legend goes…....and purchases a piece…...it was my lucky year. Tonight I was asked if I’d ever sold a painting in a gallery…well, yes, and at exhibitions and privately. To date I believe I have sold between 30 and 40 original paintings, which I am very proud of…..in the early days 2002 I was very prolific, things have slowed down a bit with my painting now, because i am much more deliberate and take a lot of time to imbue my paintings with layers and love and depth…..it is just how i have grown as an artist, it is nice to report that there is growth along the journey…(and sales lol)!!! Somebody also has a print of these cows and loves them very much from what I understand lol
