All of these icicle pix were taken last week in my backyard here in CT. ,after an ice storm. / The icicles formed on 3 large azalia bushes. I took a LOT of pix and was amazed at the colors and shapes I was able to capture. I usually don’t like to post so many pix of the same subject, but I can’t help myself in this case- they are just ALL so different.! / I apologize if it’s getting a little too repetitious, but just when I promise myself I won’t post any more, I come across another nice capture. Thanks for your understanding !

this azalia was given to me when my mother was critically ill about 20 years ago. It has always been one of my special favorites and I’m glad it has survived all these years. And, I did upload this photo last week but couldn’t figure out how to get it bigger so those of you who were nice enough to comment on it then, I thank you and here is a bigger one!

Lovely Small pink Azalia’s in full bloom.

A wisteria covered rest area with wooden bench seats. It is a designated Wedding ceremony area where Weddings are celebrated usually on Saturday afternoons. A bank of azalia bushes can be seen in the distance.

Kings River Falls, and it preserved natural area is most beautiful to me in the mid spring, when the wild Azalias are in bloom, and many other interesting, and beautiful wild flowers there. I love how the Azalias framed the falls in this scene. / Canon Powershot S3 IS
