Long lens of the Rue de la Republique in Avignon, France, at night.
Rustling tree tops caught on long exposure at night in one of the creepiest courtyards I’ve ever been in. Being there alone at half one in the morning didn’t help. (Avignon, France.)

I took this shot one Spring afternoon, while sitting in front of the Palace of the Popes, in Avignon. I loved the textured pattern of clouds. “The Palace of the Popes stands as the mighty symbol of the church’s influence throughout the western Christian world in the 14th century. / Construction was started in 1335 and completed in less than twenty years under the leadership of two builder popes, Benedict XII and his successor Clement VI. / The Popes’ Palace is the biggest Gothic palace in all of Europe.” Trusted Site of France FEATURED in French Architecture

Quick trip to France in May, 2001. Planned it in 10 days. Spent 5 nights, 6 days driving around on our own. One of the neatest vacations we ever took! Many thanks to ghostbones @ deviantart.com for the background. Kodak DX4230 (I think because I don’t have it any more)
