Henry, the whitetailed deer, is a family member. My son-in-law is a taxidermist, and Henry is one of his creations. I put Henry back in his natural environment today…
Just something I did for a photo challenge on JPGmag.com and I thought I would post it up here. Enjoy!
I can’t think of any good titles right now, haha… but this is a shot from a month ago of a tree in my front yard. The leaves were so intense and gorgeous. Enjoy!

Orange leaves merge with yellow leaves at the boathouse, at Alfred Nicholas Gardens, in the Dandenongs, Victoria. This was taken in autumn. This is an hdr image with 3 shots merged together using Photomatix Pro, tone mapping and tone compressor. I used a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera, 18-55mm lens and a tripod. This was featured in the Live, Love, Dream Group and A Garden Somewhere Group.
This blanket of leaves were found at Bright, Victoria, Australia, in autumn. I used a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera and 18-55mm lens.
Images from glorious Bright and Beechworth in Victoria, Australia.
“Tributary” was taken on the Waterford River in downtown St John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. Walk a few hundred meters up the trail, turn around and you have “Waterford Gold”. / For more information please visit Brian’s Homepage or on Flickr
This is taken above the Watauga Dam, which holds the Watauga lake and river with in it’s bounds. I took this in Ap. Pri. as the sun was blinding. I was facing the sun, so it was shinning on the front of the trees….and I was behind! I had a U.V. filter on, but still very bright. / Using Nikon D50 / 18-200 VR zoom Nikkor lens / This area is near where my home is, and the leaves have been stunning this year. /
