  • Even though the original 1937 Ford was a breakthrough design, with headlights streamlined into the fenders for the first time and the famed flathead V-8 giving ample performance by the standards of the day, initial sales were disappointing. Only later was it to become a favorite of generations of hot rodders and customizers. However, the first ones to tweak the ‘37 kept the bodywork bone-stock, because their livelihood depended on stealth and speed-–and room for a load of moonshine!

  • one of my talented students drawings, as photoshopped by me. (see that shadow! I did that!) as many boys in year five do, he loves to draw:cars and bikes. It may not be my drawing, but I had the vision of putting it on a t-shirt, changing it to suit, giving it air…making me the designer and collaborator. I love how this car has air-I imagine the inspiration it may give my very serious student Nathan, and hope it brings a smile to his face.

  • Tailfin of a ‘57 Chevy Bel Air. Ran it through Photoshop and changed the colors a bit.

  • Thought this would make a nice tee. Hope your like it!

  • Captured this beauty at a local park, where the Antique Automobile Club of America was having a meeting. Talk about a photographers’ dream ….. I love the colors in this shot, down to the waterspots on the chrome. This is an HDR image. Image was taken with Nikon D200 and Nikkor 18-70mm lens. My art with 1000+ views

  • Back in the days, this is what a parking lot might have looked like. I loved how these antique cars were all lined up, but wished the light colored Cadillac was not in the same row. Oh well.

  • An antique 1952 Chevy Deluxe. Note that this design is half-toned white on shirt color. View larger to see detail. (To the best I can determine this is a ‘52 Chevy Deluxe. If you can confirm or refute this, please leave a comment.) Also available: ‘52 Chevy Deluxe 2-Color

  • Always a repairman’s excuse, when your car’s not ready on time. I found this old truck sitting in a paddock, near a mullock heap in Steiglitz, few kilometres from Geelong, Australia. Steiglitz is now virtually a ghost town, after experiencing a goldrush in the mid to late 1800s.

  • HDR 7 Exposures, processed with Photomatix, loaded into CS3, converted to IR with holes poked through the filter to allow for the color to come through. This was taken at the Plant City Car show. I had hoped to get a lot more photos while I was there but unfortunately it had been raining most of the day so I think a lot of t he cars that were suppose to be on display didn’t bother to show.

  • A compilation of the car, sky, landscape and birds. All images taken by me. Hope you like! Add me to your watch list now / My Bubblesite

  • This triptych of an assembly of classic powder blue coloured Triumph TR3 Sports Cars was photographed during an annual Triumph TR3 Club gathering on Westport Park, Port Macquarie , NSW, Australia, on a beautiful spring afternoon. In the third shot I was going to ask those two TR3 enthusiasts at the end of the line if they would move but decided against that and asked them to keep still for a few seconds instead. An eighth vehicle turned up right after I made the last shot but I wasn’t going to go through all that again as more and more people began milling around and walking through the scene. • Historic racing is not a collection of old cars being taken around the circuit at a moderate pace – they were built to race, and as this shot shows, their owners like to race them hard! / Here, a lightweight Jaguar E-Type leads two AC Cobras at Silverstone. Featured in ‘Historic Motor Racing Photography Worldwide’ group Nikon D80. Sigma 70-300 APO. 1/1000 f8

  • Digital/photoshop featured in Graphic Editing 101, All Original Fusion, and PixElations – The Art of Photoshop (thanks guys!)

  • I have no idea what year this Ford car is, but I just fell in love with it. The colors, the flames, I’m not sure. Photo taken at the Cruzin’ with the Cops Car show in Oregon City, Oregon.
