This heavily photoshopped image started life as a photo of an abandoned 1961 AMC Ambassador located on old Route 66, near Newkirk, New Mexico. Only 19,000 total Ambassadors were manufactured in 1961, and those numbers are spread across three body styles. Of the 4-door sedans, not many still exist, making this a rare sight. Pentax K20D, f5.6, 1/750. Pentax SMC 20-50 zoom @ 23mm.

My attempt at TTV, only without the vintage camera. I am very intrigued by this process and thought i would try my hand at getting the effects with the help of PS CS4 & my Sony DSC-H10. In time, I will find myself a good old vintage camera and attempt the real process. This is taken in Saskatchewan on the way from Saskatoon to Prince Albert . . . on a property that has all these original buildings, farm equipment and all things nostalgic, when life was much more simple!! I couldn’t say exactly where it was . . but i do know where the turn-off is :-) TTV frame courtesy DLSdesigns on flickr.
