Lil Formers is a parody comic strip created, written, drawn, inked and coloured by me, Matt Moylan. It started off poking fun at all aspects of Hasbro’s Transformers mega-property (hence the ‘Formers’ in the title). Strips #1 to 100 are all TF-centric, but now with Strip #101 onward, I’m expanding the scope of things to cover all geeky, pop culture properties. A rather popular comic series of mine features the characters of Transformers Armada as humans. The series is due for a revamp and refresh, but this is the original design for the character. This is Optimus Prime. He’s the leader of the Autobots, so, naturally, he’s wise and noble and all that. He seems to have a fondness for chocolate milkshakes, and his hair is blue. Whispatchet drew it, yo!

This is Blurr. He’s an Autobot, but he’s a bit of a stuck up jerk. He has a long flowing coat, and is the only Autobot to have retained his weapon in human form. He likes green tea, and his hair is black. Whispatchet drew it, yo!

This is Jetifre. He’s an Autobot; the only Autobot flier. Or, at least he was before made human. He’s a little arrogant, and has an ego the size of Pluto, but is a nice guy at heart. He likes salami, and his hair is dark orange. Whispatchet drew it, yo!

This is Scavenger. He’s an Autobot. He’s the oldest of all the SNIs still in active service, and his not afraid to let the young ones know that he’s in charge with a good smack upside the head. He likes sleeping, and his hair is definintely grey. Whispatchet drew it, yo!

This is Smokescreen. He’s an Autobot. He loves to gamble, and pull pranks, but he’s loyal and cheerful. His favourite food is pasta, and his hair is orange. Whispatchet drew it, yo!

This is Red Alert. He’s an Autobot. He is the Chief Medical Officer of the Autobots, and with good cause. There’s nearly nothing he can’t repair. He likes a good cheese, and his hair is bluish black. This is Sideswipe. He’s an Autobot. He’s the youngest, and of course, the least mature. He’s pretty good with code breaking and maths, and is always, and I mean it, enthusiastic.
