Image taken at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA) in Melbourne, Australia. This is an amazing building, the lines and angles give me goosebumps. Seriously you couldn’t take a bad photograph of it.

This is a serendipitous creation…. a rich sunset, a piece of ‘junk’ metal, ...and one of my favourite photos :)

Love the texture of the rusty metal on the wall of this house in Portsea. Woohoo! Sold a medium sized framed print of this… thanks Gail.

Gundagai, New South Wales, Australia / This is part of the Gundagai Rail Viaduct across the Murrumbidgee floodplain – it is 819m long consisting of 72 timber trusses, the longest timber truss structure ever built in Australia, and a steel bridge over the main channel of the river. It was constructed in 1903 when the railway line from Cootamundra to Gundagai was extended to Tumut. The service was discontinued in 1984. / Most people drive through Gundagai, but charming places like this need only a short walk. / / (ref fotoWERNER 3H0801.0085) / Nikon D300 with Nikon 18-200VR / 1/60s f/13 ISO200 /

Rusting corrugated tank, corrugated iron shed, weathered timber, angles, lines….... texture paradise!! / I found this while passing through an odd little NSW country town which goes by the name of “Legume”. I’m not sure why it’s named so….. there wasn’t a legume in sight. [Thanks to Ghostbones for the great texture overlay] Featured – Metallic Junction – October 2009
