  • A sunrise over Port Phillip Bay at Beaumaris in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

  • Shot this back in November, 2004, when the grass was much greener, and there was water in the dam. There’s only been water in that dam one other time since then, and it lasted around 6 weeks….this is a nice reminder of what we used to have…. Sold this a number of times pre-redbubble, mostly A3 size, and it won me a $1500 prize from the Brisbane City Council, as well the John Herbert medal at APSCON 2005, and also a number of other smaller prizes. This was sold december 2008 on redbubble as a matted print. • It was an early morning start. I was meeting a friend for a sunrise shoot. The location was all planned out, so was the time – unfortunately we still missed each other. It was my fault. I went to the South end of the beach, he was at the Northern end. /   / Sometimes a mistake can actually turn into luck, and this was the case here. A wonderfully still morning, beautiful light and the moon to boot….. /   / I did eventually meet up with my friend after he finally answered his mobile, but wow was I glad I overshot the Northern Entrance…. • On a frosty june morning I found myself to the top of a local range near Geranium in the Souther Mallee looking at one of the most brilliant sunrise’s I have ever seen. The warm glow of the sun across the clouds and the shifting light made me forget about the the freezing temperatures I was working in.
