I found / this one at Sussex Inlet, NSW. They usually travel in large / noisy flocks and nest in chewed out hollows in eucalypt / trees. They are ‘acrobatic clowns’, hanging upside down / from perches and screeching loudly and flapping their / wings while playing around with their fellow galahs. To / be called a ‘galah’ in Australia could insinuate that you’re / a bit of an idiot or fool. ;) Galah is part of my / 2010 Calender – Australian Birdlife /
