Taken on the second day of the 2009 Classic Car Rally, Stephen Rochester’s Triumph whizzed by the spectators as it tackled the first race section of the day..
Let the party begin. The banner advertises to all the popular street party held each year for the Classic Car Rally on Day 2 of the event. The cars are driven into the closed off street to allow the party-goers to view the cars up close and personal and to meet the drivers. A lot of people turned out for this event despite the inclement weather. Some sat at the footpath tables on either side of this popular restaurant strip whilst others wandered amongst the cars and posed with the lycra clad models advertising the sponsor’s products.
These girls braved the cool, wet weather to wander among the cars advertising the sponsor’s wares and pose for photographers at the Gouger St Street Party on Day 2 of the Classic Car Rally.

More cars arriving at the Street Party and running the gauntlet of the spectators on Day 2 of the Classic Car Rally. Gouger St is in the heart of the city, neighbouring the Central Market and is popular with tourists and locals with many popular restaurants and Adelaide’s Chinatown.
