one of those natural shots. I set it all up-under a sky light, and took loads of pics. I only took one from this angle-lucky it turned out.
BUY THIS CARD AND FEEL GOOD FOR WEEKS! Delightful baby welcomes home her parents. Taken in 1996 in Greystones Wicklow. I was taking portrait shots of the baby, she´s my cousins, through the kitchen back door window when the baby just latched herself onto the glass by her tongue and almost magnetically began to rise up the window frame. I could hardly take the picture for laughter. 3393 views / 125 favouritings / 166 comments / 4 sales C’mon Guys and Girls buy a baby today!! Menere is my husband’s auntie from Opper Egypt, close to Nag Hamadi, she was always a bit ‘different’ , smoking sigarettes, walking barefeet, reading date pits, I liked that so we got on really well. She was my favorite auntie… Watch this
I had to take this photo of Nazira also, over a 108 yrs old, states my Egyprian husband, maybe more ? ;) she is from a little rural village Bajura, near Nag Hamadi in Opper Egypt, its surrounded by sugercane and mainly farming country. We used to visit her on our old Russian bikes..when I lived there, in 1985 Watch this
We married in ‘secret’ in Cairo and I really wanted to celebrate this in El Kasr, most locals had never seen a “egnabie”(a tourist) ..it was such an old ancient place that it became my favorite place besides Bajura, which is close to Nag Hamadi, Opper Egypt..The people where so wonderfull and they could not keep there hands off me which gave the funniest situations..
While I was making some shots in Leh, Ladakh this women kept pulling my arm and she was laughing and laughing and pulling and pulling ,then she had enough and just grapped my camera ,she just wanted to look at that thing…the kids thought it was hysterical, anyway I gave her my camera but she did not want to give it back…so i let her take some random shots that made her happy and she decided to give the thing back..(it was film by the way not digital,..and she just kept clicking..)
if you have followed my storie (a bit :) you can see this is part of a series and this the time i took my daughter to the Fitzroy mob at the “Oval”, my daughter (almost) 16 yrs approched the group who where sitting on the grass… with a broad smile and bent down to shake all the peoples hands, they loved it and when this girl shaked her hands my daughter said REAAALY, my name is jasmijn too!! and they thought THAT was great..!! so than they all wanted photo with my daughter…what a fun afternoon..Broome, Western Australia
that saturday at the Broome “Oval’ was a nice and relaxing time, but not for everybody where live and love hasn’t been that fortunate. She was angry and sad all in the same time..i was sitting on the grass with all the others when she came over to check me out…how are you darling ?, i asked her, but before i could answer Big Mama said i was their friend and ‘to settle’ down,..i had no problem with her and started playing with the baby and she mellowed out, hey sis, she said, make a picture of me too! ok i said, but give me your best smile…and they burst out in laughter..ahh i said you allright sis..you allright
It was such a lovely sight to see these women chatting so relaxed in a lazy afternoon, Rajahstan, India
