Look to this day: / For it is life, the very life of life. / In its brief course / Lie all the verities and realities of your existence. / The bliss of growth, / The glory of action, / The splendour of achievement / Are but experiences of time. For yesterday is but a dream / And tomorrow is only a vision; / And today well-lived, makes / Yesterday a dream of happiness / And every tomorrow a vision of hope. / Look well therefore to this day; / Such is the salutation to the ever-new dawn! R. A. Schwaller de Lubicz, lived for fifteen years among the temples and tombs of Luxor and Karnak, in order to try and penetrate the secret symbolism of the hieroglyphs. Below is one of her translations. If you search for the laws of harmony, you will find knowledge. I dedicate this painting to R.A. Schwaller de Lubicz, whom I admire greatly. I am the blossom pressed in a book, / found again after two hundred years. . . . I am the maker, the lover, and the keeper. . . . When the young girl who starves / sits down to a table / she will sit beside me. . . . I am food on the prisoner’s plate. . . . I am water rushing to the wellhead, / filling the pitcher until it spills. . . . I am the patient gardener / of the dry and weedy garden. . . . I am the stone step, / the latch, and the working hinge. . . . I am the heart contracted by joy. . . / the longest hair, white / before the rest. . . . I am there in the basket of fruit / presented to the widow. . . . I am the musk rose opening / unattended, the fern on the boggy summit. . . . I am the one whose love / overcomes you, already with you / when you think to call my name. . . . Poem by Jane Kenyon Music – Pavane, Op. 50 This collection is dedicated to all the people that we should remember….Take the time to think of them, today, now, before their departure no longer permits interactions. 20th February 2009
I have been experiencing various changes over the last year, most of them pertaining to my Spiritual awareness. I have been working extensively with My Spirit Guides on various projects. Over the last few weeks I have felt uneasy wondering what all this was for. An awful pain came over me with the news of the devastation that was occurring and continues to occur in Australia. I have always been very fond of that wonderful country. I have been trying to piece a jigsaw together all my life and today a very important piece flew into my life and showed me the next step of my journey. Many people have asked how I do so many paintings. Today I am going to share a selection of them with you. There are times when I paint more, and times when I paint less. I realised today that I need to share them with everyone as the paintings hold certain visions, places and timelines which may pertain to one of you. I am a firm believer in My Spirit Guides and have explained to my family and friends that I would be revealing my visions from today and sharing them with who ever finds them interesting. There are times when I know who and what they represent and other times when their meanings only become clear after a certain time has elapsed. I recently worked with John Pryere on a project which we called Fire & Ice. This entailed painting on ice and snow and then recording the event as it melted. I have become very interested in the concept of ephemeral art and will continue to do more. The events in Australia have played a very large part. One day we have something and the next day it is gone. Why attach importance to material objects and possessions. We all have our journeys and mine is taking a different route. On the days I paint I shall be uploading the work which I painted for everyone to see. I will be calling them My Spiritual Visions, which is exactly what they are. John Pryere has kindly offered to photograph my work which I am very happy for him to do. I am a believer of past lives and even do people’s regressions. I feel that many of us have become friends for more reasons than sales and complimentary comments. The visions that I have been experiencing lately have made me decide to share them with the World and today I start this new journey. Thank you for all your support, kindness, friendship but above all – your understanding. / Kind regards…..always, / Sophie Shapiro 24th February 2009

I’ve tried the new moon tilted in the air / Above a hazy tree-and-farmhouse cluster / As you might try a jewel in your hair. / I’ve tried it fine with little breadth of luster, / Alone, or in one ornament combining / With one first-water start almost shining. I put it shining anywhere I please. / By walking slowly on some evening later, / I’ve pulled it from a crate of crooked trees, / And brought it over glossy water, greater, / And dropped it in, and seen the image wallow, / The color run, all sorts of wonder follow….... As a sacred symbol in Egyptian religion, the phoenix represented the sun, which dies each night and rises again each morning. According to Herodotus the bird was red and golden and resembled an eagle. Ephemeral Painting – This is all that exists of this work. I was very sad to see it go, but share it with you all.
Yesterday’s passing / Left no regrets. / Just one more minute, / Don’t wake me yet….... The last living survivor of the Titanic, Millvina Dean, has died at the age of 97 in Southampton. As a two-month-old baby, Millvina was the youngest passenger on board the giant liner when it sank on its maiden voyage on April 15, 1912 – with the loss of more than 1,500 lives. / The Titanic holds a very special place in my heart as My Spirit Guide, Ida Straus died on it as did so many others. / I dedicate this painting to Millvina Dean and quote the words of William Wordsworth in honour of her memory. Harp! Thy murmurs may not cease - / A Spirit, with his angelic wings, / In soft and breeze – like visitings, / Has touched thee – and a Spirit’s hand: / A voice is with us – a command / To chant, in strains of heavenly glory. / A tale of tears, a mortal story! For you Millvina Dean….... June 1st 2009 – London

This painting is dedicated to my mentor, Spiritual healer and friend who celebrates her birthday today. I feel so very fortunate to have experienced the love and guidance of such a wonderful woman. Happy Birthday Mavis from all our Spirits Guides and everyone on Red Bubble. Thank you for everything you do! It is only by being thoroughly conscientious about trifling matters that one can become conscientious in everything. This is the way to cultivate the good tree, so that in the end it cannot bear anything but good fruit..... The Akashic records is a theosophical concept referring to the archiving of all World events and personal experiences – of all the thoughts and deeds that have ever taken place on Earth. These events are transcribed in the form of complex images composed of pictures, sounds, and other sensory stimuli. These images are indelibly impressed upon the “matter” of the astral plane (called the Akasha) and may be “read” only when the reader is in a special altered (some even say mystical) state of consciousness. In such an altered state of mind, one is able to tap the Akashic records and receive direct information about past ages. Certain theosophical descriptions of Atlantis, for example, are supposedly received via this technique. Also, some psychics who do past-life readings claim to receive their information from the Akashic records. It is also said that it is possible to tap the Akashic records during dreams. Sometimes the information so obtained is remembered consciously upon awakening. More often, nocturnal perusals of the Akashic records are not remembered, although the fruits of such “dream research” may be retrieved in moments of intuition in daily life. The information received in precognitive dreams (clairvoyant dreams relating to an event or state not yet experienced) is often said to be ultimately derived from the Akashic records. I want to thank My Spirit Guides for the wonderful journeys they take me on and fill my life with creativity, love and inspiration. My life would not be the same without them. Tao te Ching – We all need to be reminded of this sometimes….all of us! July 23rd 2009
I dreamt a dream! What can it mean? / And that I was a maiden Queen / Guarded by an Angel mild: / Witless woe was ne’er beguiled! And I wept both night and day, / And he wiped my tears away; / And I wept both day and night, / And hid from him my heart’s delight. So he took his wings, and fled; / Then the morn blushed rosy red. / I dried my tears, and armed my fears / With ten-thousand shields and spears. Soon my Angel came again; / I was armed, he came in vain; / For the time of youth was fled, / And grey hairs were on my head. Poem Angel, The by William Blake August 3rd 2009
