I found it quite amusing that in Italy, as a male, you can unashamedly turn your head toward an attractive woman – without question, in fact I think you are encouraged – this is a simple social comment on the comings and goings of everyday life.

On the right side of the road, the flat land is bordered by the eastern face of Mitchell Mesa, rising 1,000 feet above. A side track forks north near Merrick Butte, but like all back roads in the park this may only be traveled as part of a Navajo guided tour. The revolving door entrance into St Paul’s cathedral may be a modern necessity, but all who enter face this sign to recall them to the purpose and intent of this wonderful building ~ more than a mere tourist attraction but a holy place of worship. / One of the highlights of our travels through England and a tiny taste of Scotland, was to attend a Sunday morning service at the Cathedral. No tourist event this as hundreds came to worship; to find or rediscover the meaning of this iconic Christian church. Yes I’m jumping back to a London based pic. This was an image I had included in my London calendar which I did not have displayed publically before but now I’ve decided to show it. Despite the blue sky and sunshine this day was in fact VERY cold. Taken with an Olympus FE-340 on January 31, 2009. Tower Bridge; London, UK. This work has been featured in: / 4 Winners Only
