An ink portrait of Bangalter from Daft Punk. Considering that I referenced the drawing from a crowd shot at Coachella, I think it turned out well. / Maggie (maggiemcfee.com) Thanks for all the awesome comments!
Photographic based digital montage, 2007 (no 2 from series of 3 re-worked). Shot two seperate models & P/S combined them. I also draw in & enhanced part of the headpeice, the body, the dress, added a fringe to the face, hid the eyes, made the features more angular, blew up the lips, created cheekbones, reworked the branches, filtered wallpaper effects, extended the chandelier, added lacework/flower elements, desaturated the lot & added a sepia tone. Approximately 50 Photoshop layers.
P/S Retouched by Ange. Digital photograph shot by Jerry Kang in Surry Hills, Sydney, 2007. Model: J.Y. I retouched the eyes (creating deepset cat eyed effect), enhanced lips, defined eyebrows, enhanced cheekbones, airbrushed face & lengthened body. Extended foreground of shot by retouching (the existing foreground) as it was taken tightly cropped to the foot. Added b/w desaturated tone & curve adjustment. Original shot below.
I Love Me as a greeting card design!! =D / In the background is the kanji “ai”, 爱 meaning love.. n_n” There are some of us, who took it upon ourselves to do things for others. to help others.. to make others happy.. but we forgot about ourselves! we forgot that we need to make ourselves happy too. we need to love ourselves too. if we don’t love ourselves, who’ll love us? i dedicate this to every one of you kind souls out there!! remember to always love yourself as well!! =D i especially thank Karin who kept reminding me that i am love-able as well. bad history and with the kind of people i’m surrounded by, i was made to believe that nobody will love me for everything that i am. am made to realise all my faults and bad points and weaknesses. made to believe am ugly and useless. having depression doesn’t help as i view myself as nothing more than a mental girl. i totally believe that it’s impossible for anyone to really love me. But Karin showed me otherwise. she made me answer and admit my pretty gd points.. and i realised.. hey!! i can be love-able?! am still trying to accept that now.. lolz.. it’s still kinda hard to accept, having been instilled those “i sux!” mindset for years… ahahahah.. XD Thank you, Karin!! GLOMPZ!!! fa: i had to force Tim to carry that signage cos he wouldn’t say the words!! stupid monster.. / Tim: it says I Love Me!! how can you love yourself!! you’re big, fat, ugly and you’re mental with me in your head!! / fa: awww.. i can love you too, can’t i~ XD / Tim: NOOOOOOOOOoooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please View Larger Now before you jump to any conclusions….please give me a minute to explain. / / I have a reputation here at Redbubble I would like to keep in tack. I just could not resist the humor in this photo. I would never support vulgarities. / / Please remember, Mr. Attitude is Gods creature too. God loves all that He has made, even Mr. Attitude… / / When I first seen this fella I thought…sheesh…what in the world? How in the world does this gorilla know that I shoot with a Canon and not a Nikon? / / After taking a few photos with his continued display of disgust that I am a Canon man, he finally jumped down to get some more food to eat. / / Once Mr. Attitude jumped down to the ground, I could see that he did not have a problem with my Canon gear at all. Instead I could see that he must have at one time broke his finger and now it is stuck in that position. / / It felt good to know there was nothing personal intended, so I mouthed to him, that I took nothing personal and smiled. Now dont laugh at Mr. Attitude, just laugh with him.
this image can mean something different to everyone…........ happiness, shock, panic, excitement, cold ect ect

Ive never tried something like this before. Never an artwork emotionally so intense. Would love to thank sandra baraci for the wonderful collab. She has been painting the stunning image of `tracie76 portrait for a while now, which she abandoned in the middle. I really wanted to complete it in my form, and I did. / She says she found the motivation back again to finish the canvas, which is an honour . Thankyou both of you for the wonderful experience.
no model.. / no refrences.. / strictly out of my head…
i love swiss knives
How? / Well, to first state the obvious, this is two photos merged together. I had to shoot both subjects with the same lighting angle. The only difference being the small subject was shot from above to get the right perspective to stand on the large hand. Both photos were layered in Photoshop and corrected to match. I had to extract both from their white backgrounds (they were shot against white) and then positioned within the frame. I placed another layer between the two and “painted in” a shadow under the small subject with a soft black brush and changed the blend mode of that layer to multiply, and making of course, the shadows darker directly around the shoes according to the light direction. I prefer painting in the shadows as I get more control as to where they go. There’s even a slight shadow across the large thumb. I always say, if you notice the shadows, then you’ve done a bad job. Then I applied a gradient for the background. I post processed the whole image in Lightroom where I desaturated the image slightly, increased the clarity and applied a minor split tone of a light brown color (hence the warm tone). That’s it!
This image was shot on transparency film and the transparency was manipulated further using a Daylab printer and Polaroid pull apart film where the film is pulled apart before a positive can be processed. The dyes remaining on the Polaroid film were then transferred by rolling onto blotting paper. This is a very unique technique as you will never be able to reproduce the same image twice. There will always be a different amount of dye remaining on the film each time you do it making each image different from the last. More works created using this technique can be found here
This was inspired by Vonne of Ravensoul. The artwork that she uploaded yesterday titled The World Within and the narrative that went along with it made me really take a step back and think about what she had written. Take a look at her portfolio and be inspired as much as I was. So Vonne this is for you and anyone else who can relate to it. XX
Take another look honey! Mixed Medium On Canvas.
Well it’s Sunday again and there they sit with their vanilla lattes all comfy on the sofa, settled in for the day of football. Can’t they see the sun is shining and it would be an awesome day to go out and play in the mountians. Ever since they got that damn NFL Sunday Ticket this is how the day is spent what a waste. I think I might need to find a new family that doesn’t watch football.
xx Missy Miss
