acrylic on canvas / slightly altered in ps this piece was not so easy to do, i had to dig into my mind, into parts shut off shut down blocked off but always there… / this is a glimpse into how i came to be who i am today. Theres a story to this / based on true events / tho i’ve never understood it / it has never made sense / how one who was given all of my trust / all of my love and all of my lust / crushed it and twisted me / til there was nothing much left / broken and bruised / and living regret / These were my dark days / my youth mispent / when my heart belonged to a monster / and my shattered soul wept / Years went by in this madness / why i cannot say / but this event depicted here / was the beginning of the end of my dark days / he tried to put out the light that i am / he attempted to end it all / but that fate was not the fate meant for me / and somehow i survived the fall Domestic abuse happens everywhere, both in seen and unseen places, / it isnt somethin only depicted on tv, its real and its happening. / and not just to those you’ll never meet / one day it mite happen to you / or someone you love / one way we can help fight this injustice / is awareness, education, resources and aide for those in need. / Intolerance of abuse against women, children, even some men…, of any nature, is needed to break the cycles of abuse and neglect. / We need more Resources. The human race needs Help. / Help make the world we’re in a better place / we’ve only the one world and we’ve all got to share it. / lets strive for a better tomorrow for our children today. thankyou for taking the time to view my art and (hopefully) comment… / please have a look at my other artwork… / hope you enjoy! :) /

Futuristic attempt to escape from Berlin Mitte (Germany)... Unidentified flying object (commonly abbreviated as UFO or U.F.O.) is the popular term for any aerial phenomenon whose cause cannot be easily or immediately determined. Both military and civilian research show that a significant majority of UFO sightings are identified after further investigation, either explicitly or indirectly through the presence of clear and simple explanatory factors. The United States Air Force, who coined the term in 1952, initially defined UFOs as those objects that remain unidentified after scrutiny by expert investigators, though the term UFO is often used more generally to describe any sighting unidentifiable to the reporting observer(s). Popular culture frequently takes the term UFO as a synonym for alien spacecraft. Some investigators now prefer to use the broader term Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon (or UAP), to avoid the confusion and speculative associations that have become attached to UFO. Studies have established that only a small percentage of reported UFOs are actual hoaxes, while the majority are observations of some real but conventional object – most commonly aircraft, balloons, or astronomical objects such as meteors or bright planets – that have been misidentified by the observer as anomalies. A small percentage of reported sightings (usually 5 %-20 %) are classified as unidentified flying objects in the strictest sense. UFO reports became more common after the first widely publicized US sighting – reported by private pilot Kenneth Arnold in 1947 – that gave rise to the popular terms “flying saucer” and “flying disc”. Since then, millions of people have reported that they have seen UFOs.

My first attempt at HDR. / Portsea Victoria, home and backyard of the rich. / Nikon D80 18-135MM Lens / Dynamic pro HDR software was used. Onlu one image used in this process. / No tripod used as this is one of my stock images i thought i would try it on. / Dynamic Pro easily converts and creates EV Steps to create a HDR Image. /

My first attempt at my new photoshop program, Adobe Photoshop Elements 7. This started as a photgraph of my daughter’s violin which I edited using the pencil drawing tool in the software. / I’d like to learn – in words used for dummies! – how to merge two photographs. Any tips from the pros?

Lol..this is my first attempt at layering. The background layer is my image “Crackpot” and the top is of course, Raindrop kisses ii :)) Inspired by the wonderfully talented artist Jolie who used my image crackpot in her art titled a time to blossom I was inspired by her beautiful image to use the same technique. Thankyou Jolie!
