My inspiration for this piece was my love for giant sea creatures in interesting situations and whats more interesting than a giant octopus attacking a building nowhere near the sea… Fascinating.. HAHA anyway photo was taken in Paris, France. Octopus done in Illustrator and finalised in photoshop.
Shallow depth of field image of an arrow flying in the direction of the viewer.
A recent photo from my Trip to new york, i´m still there, till sunday morning. / Awesome city. / The photo was taken under the brooklyn-bridge, / very unusal for me to shoot land and citiyscapes… And when i´m back in germany i´ll promise to keep with portrait and my typical stuff. looking foward to your comment, and I surely dont want to insult one of the poor victims of the 9/11 attack, just my way expressing my thoughts about it..
WRAP IT UP KIDS
When approached, Shinglebacks open their mouths and act big and tough! Although dont be fooled, when do they bite, they latch on very hard! This pair was found wandering the bluebush near Lake Mungo in western NSW. Steve is the Principal Ecologist at EnviroKey providing specialist ecological services across Australia.
Was listening to my Dad talking about something technical and couldn’t help but notice him unknowingly rub his chest while talking. II was reminded of his heat condition (50 + attackes in the last 8 years if you count the minor ones).. So I drew this up real quick and got his feedback on it (un-colored). He downright loved it, so I’m happy.. Really nice to know he can still laugh at his condition concidering what he’s gone through. Designed mostly to honor my father, I figured it’ll be a nice design for other Heart Acttack survivors as well. But I don’t suggest giving this to a victim of heart -attacks unless you know they have a light side concerning the subject.. It’s difficult to see, but there is a little area of visable skin color that’s to represent the wearer’s skin. So not to leave anyone out., I’ve made two versions. One for Light Skin Folks (above) and one for Dark Skin Folks. Copyright © 2008 SEspider Productions. / Al Rights Reserved.

Of the more than 300 species of shark found in Australian waters, there are only a couple of species that are known to attack humans. Yet 2009 will surely go down in the history books as having a record number of shark attacks. / / This summer alone it seemed like every week there was another person emerging from the water with bits missing. Sometimes twice a week. That’s if they were lucky enough to come out of the water at all. / / And even though you are more likely to die of a bee sting, there are now cries to increase the quota of shark fishing to cull the populations that have been living in our coastal waters for millions of years. / / I think it’s important for us all to respect that the moment we step off the land and into the sea, we are out of our depth and are no longer at the top of the food chain. / / I’m doing this art to present the lighter side of these primordial creatures and point out that they aren’t menacing. They’re just hungry. / /
Recently there’s been a spate of crocodile attacks here in Australia. / / Just last weekend, 11 year old Birony Goodsell was dragged underwater by one and never resurfaced. / / If feel deeply sorry for her and even worse for her family but for crying out loud, she was swiming in our most dangerous state, in a place called Black Jungle Swamp. / / That’s just asking for it. / / So now authorities are setting traps to catch and kill these so called ‘menacing’ crocodiles. / / Fair enough but I think it’s important for all of us to remember that we don’t own this planet. We share it with millions of other species and we have to learn and teach our children to respect them and their rights. / / I’m doing this art to present the lighter side of these primordial creatures and point out that they aren’t menacing. They’re just hungry. / /
From the final speech of the Nexus 6 replicant Roy Batty… “I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time… like tears in rain… Time to die.” Also from the RevCo song… :)
This way…you don’t have to beat the hell out of a donkey in order to get your candy.
I didn’t even realize the spider was there until I saw this pop open on my screen. I thought the bumble was being very still and I was taking advantage of the opportunity that I thought he was giving me.
