Graymoor is a community of Franciscan Sisters and Friars. Since its inception in 1898, reconciliation and healing through atonement — the unity of men and women with God and one another — has been the mission of the Friars’ work and ministries to people of every race, religion, and walk of life.

A Tattoo I designed for someone
I just need to tap the walls. / And I’ll need my breathing space. / I’d huddle in the corner. / But I’d like to touch your face.
Let’s just say that via various twists and turns and loose interpretations, it’s a strangely inspired song. LINK
I gave you my heart I gave you my soul, what was left anyway. Sadly It just wasn’t enough. This is a picture Taken of Jennifer and I on our wedding day. Although we have gone serperate ways we still remain friends.
Although ‘1897’ is emblazoned above the portals, as a record of major enhancements made, the Holte Hotel was in existence in the 1870’s and probably goes back even further. It was once a focal point for people who came to the former Aston Lower Grounds, with views the menagerie, the gardens, the duck pond and many other entertainment features – and once hosted the visit of Buffalo Bill and his Wild West Circus. As part of the assets of Aston Villa F.C. it was a popular pre & post match ‘boozer’ for Villa fans before it was closed and fell into disrepair. When American billionaire Randy Lerner bought Villa in September 2006 he immediately set about renovating the historic pub which is now once again quenching the thirsts of the Villa faithful.

Okay, you’ve all made me feel bad about my vicious self promotion, so I’d like to take this opportunity to kiss some babies and promise to lower taxes and fix up the education system. That and walk you through some of the excellent designs currently in competition for the coveted ‘first challenge trophy’ at the T-shirt Revolution. First up is Rubyred’s entry that basically set the standard for awesome. After seeing it I sank into a festering pit of depression. This is pro. Next is samedog’s entry, which conjures up a vision of the world in which propaganda serves a useful purpose… ie. clothing the masses. On to Bec, who was my running mate in the early stages of voting. In a way, she was the Hillary to my Barack (Oh, that was awful. I apologise.) Bec and I have been obsessed with Vietnamese propaganda posters ever since we travelled there and bought a butt-load of posters from the totally awesome Hanoi Gallery (which is also in Saigon). For those of you who don’t know, they still use this kind of imagery in current propaganda, although these days it’s mostly to do with safe sex and hygiene. Miriam Shilling’s shirt, “Join the Revolution” has a doe eyed soldier smiling serenely at us, how can you not love it? And finally, my personal favourite is Heist’s prophetic robophobic masterpiece. Fight the robots Heist, fight the robots.
We all must atone for our sins
If I learnt one thing from this, I really need to buy a Wacom tablet. My wrists are killing me!
Goat. Photo based illustration. “The scapegoat was a goat that was driven off into the wilderness as part of the ceremonies of Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, in Judaism during the times of the Temple in Jerusalem. The rite is described in Leviticus 16. / The word is more widely used as a metaphor, referring to someone who is blamed for misfortunes, generally as a way of distracting attention from the real causes.” (quoted anonymous)
I forget things all the time! / I forget meetings and appointments. / I forget to call and to write. / I forget to check my messages and my agenda. / I forget why I go downstairs to the basement, and I forget what I am looking for on the web. / I forget my cup of coffee in the microwave and my spaghetti sauce on the stove top. / I forget my wet laundry in the washing machine, and I also forget to go pick up my son who’s waiting for me on the other side of town. / I even forget to feed the dog. / The other day, I forgot to put the car on park before getting out and it crashed into our house… No wonder that I forget to bring my camera with me when I go out!!! I will need a huge notebook to copy everything that I keep forgetting all the time. And I will also need a whole box of Tylenol to soothe the pain in my poor cramped hands. Some say that it might just be perimenopause symptoms… maybe, but my grandma died of Alzheimer’s disease 12 years ago. I can’t help but worry a bit about all this forgetfulness. Oh the mystery and glory of the blood of Christ! Here the thorns represent His piercings and the crown of thorns He carried the curse for us! The blood of Christ was an acceptable offering to the Father for the sins of mankind..note the blood flowing into sweet incense
On a side note, Keira is so beautiful it’s a crime, but she COULD use some meat on them bones.
Ghosts recall ghosts
Remembering I can not atonbe for all. Somethings are done and can never be undone, and remembering others remember my name but I would not remember theirs

Thanks to Lynsye Medalia for the info on how to upload a YT video the RB, as described by Earthmonster, but I can’t get that to work so I’m doing it this way, which at least gets the screen onto RB. / So here is the clip I wanted to share with you, but please read the rest of this before you open it. The visuals are secondary, it’s the sound you have to pay attention to, ( if you can bear it!!!) but I warn you that it ISN’T what you expect. It’s a guy called Johhny ‘Bowtie’ Barstow and he has become quite famous for doing this stuff. Shows you can really sell ANYTHING if you try hard enough. I love it so much, I bought his cd ‘A Bowtie Christmas’ and yes, it’s ALL like this. / I can virtually guarantees 99.9% will think it’s either weird or just plain crap, and not think it’s as funny as hell, like I do, but to the 0.1% that get it, please enjoy.
